On February 16, members of the Association of Palestinian and Jewish Academics (PJA), Yasmeen Daher (University of Potsdam) and Elad Lapidot (University of Lille), took part in a public conversation at the American University of Paris (AUP). The event was hosted by the George and Irina Schaeffer Center for the Study of Genocide, Human Rights and Conflict Prevention.
The event functioned as a pedagogical exchange in which PJA members engaged directly with students and faculty. It created space for dialogue across institutional and national contexts, including reflections on the German, American, and French academic and political environments. Together, participants exchanged experiences and considered what acting in solidarity can mean within and beyond the university setting.
